Register to Referee

To referee in any Townsville Touch Football competition, you must be registered as a referee so that you are covered by insurance while officiating.

Referee registration is completed through MySideline, which is the same platform used for player, coach, and other registrations.

Please note that if you are already registered as a player, coach, manager, or volunteer, you will still need to complete a separate referee registration. Your existing registration does not provide insurance cover for your role as a referee.

Referee registration is free to complete through MySideline. However, a TTRA membership fee will be deducted from your first match payment, depending on which competition or competitions you referee:

• Winter competitions (full year): $10 membership fee deducted.
• Summer competitions (half year): $5 membership fee deducted.
• Junior competition only: no membership fee deducted.

A Winter season membership covers you for the full year, including both Winter and Summer competitions.
